Who would have thought that such a short story could pack such a powerful wallop?Last Temptation is an absolutely brilliant story, extremely well written, incredibly moving and erotic as hell! Poignant, passionate and remarkable, it tells of a contest of wills, as heaven and hell fight for the soul of a less than perfect war veteran, driven to suicide by the ravages and effects of war.
And there are deeper messages in this masterpiece! I loved Seraphina's epiphany and the realization that comes with the insight. Hard to call an erotic romance awe-inspiring as in the Biblical sense, especially as this fascinating short story isn't about religion. But it is definitely awe-inspiring and one awesome tale that simply shouldn't be missed.
Ms Kinson is undoubtedly a talented author, and firmly on my radar now. I am eager to recommend this book, and will personally be seeking and reading any of her available works.
